Description

The purpose of this task is to go through the Debian repositoy format specification:
https://wiki.debian.org/DebianRepository/Format

And systematically add tests for permissable repository formats.

That is, for each optional field, there should be a test with and without the field, etc.

Think: "As a pulp_deb user I want to synchronize arbitrary legal remote repositories"

Individual tests could be done as sub tasks.

I no longer consider this to be a useful ticket.

We have added a lot of test coverage for the most important things, and for those that remain we have specific tickets.

This "reminder to open test coverage tickets" no longer serves a useful purpose.

I will close this as a duplicate.
