Description

Through collaboration with the Qpid team, Pulp needs to replace the qpid.messaging component with proton. The rewrite occurs almost entirely in upstream Kombu here

This issue serves as an epic to track the overall progress across both Pulp2 and Pulp3.

Pulp3 has transitioned to using RQ so this work is no longer needed. More information on the transition to RQ can be found here: https://pulpproject.org/2018/05/08/pulp3-moving-to-rq/
