Through collaboration with the Qpid team, Pulp needs to replace the <code>qpid.messaging</code> component with <code>proton</code>. The rewrite occurs almost entirely in upstream Kombu "here":https://github.com/celery/kombu/issues/624 This issue serves as an epic to track the overall progress across both Pulp2 and Pulp3. progress.
