Description
productid.gz file is currently stored once and symlinked where needed. At the same time the checksum for this file is stored in repomd.xml of each published repo. When the unit changes, the checksum will be wrong in any repositories that have not been republished after the change. Placing a copy of the productid.gz in each published repo would prevent this issue from occuring.
