Task #9147
closedAs a Pulp user, I want to schedule a Sync every x days to keep up to date with my remote.

Description
From the Pulp community survey:
"RPM and DEB, I struggle to find info if i need to schedule a sync every X days in order to keep mirrored with remote (i'm using on_demand)"
I found the following section that states we no longer support this natively as was done in Pulp 2: https://docs.pulpproject.org/pulpcore/workflows/scheduling-tasks.html
Can we add an example to the RPM documentation either that mentions that scheduling will have to be done via a script or other tool ( essentially mirror the Pulpcore docs) or maybe in the Sync workflow section just add a cron job to demonstrate how to schedule a sync?
As it so happens, I had someone else evaluating Pulp ask me about how to keep a mirror up to date with the remote this morning also.
