Status:
CLOSED - CURRENTRELEASE
Description
Also, need to email mailing list for greater visibility. I think this email should contain a link to the blog post...?

How does this email sound:
We wrote a blog post about deprecating Nodes in Pulp 3.0 but I figured I'd sent out an email as well in order to increase visibility. Nodes will be officially deprecated in Pulp 2.12 and then removed in Pulp 3.0. For more information about why we deprecated Nodes and how you can reproduce their functionality using a standard install of Pulp, check out the blog post:

Feel free to respond with any questions or concerns.
Talked to misa on IRC and he mentioned that we might want to note that repo metadata isn't being synced across Pulp instances in the solution provided in the blog post. Was that being synced across Nodes? I can probably dig into the code and find out tomorrow.
