RFE: host more formats (npm, gems, pypi...)
Description
As part of Software Pipeline project in Red Hat, we would like to use Pulp as repository for various upstream packages.
It include (fist are with higher priority):
* Nodejs
* Maven - similarly to http://repository.jboss.org/
* PyPi
* Rubygems
* Cpan
AFAIK Pulp is unable to host those native formats. So we are forced to use another solution. Likely Sonatype Nexus.
It would be nice if you can support those formats in close feature, so we can use Pulp only.
Feel free to clone this issue into several ones - one issue per one format. And implement them in different timeframe. The first two are really important to us.

FYI, Pulp does have a plugin to support PyPI: http://pulp-python.readthedocs.org/
Also, vjancik is working on a new set of plugins to support NPM but there is no ETA on that at this time.
