# 2.15.0 Release Status

The current tentative release date for 2.15.0 GA is December 11, 2017.

## Checklist

The first item on the list **not** struck through is in progress.

  - Beta Build date.

      - ~~November 27, 2017~~ Delayed by feature not being finished

      - November 28, 2017 Beta 1

      - December 5, 2017 Beta 2

  - Prerequisites to building:

      - No open issues blocking this release

      - No procedural issues blocking this release (such as merge-forward issues, broken CI env, and similar)

  - dev branch created for this Y Release, preventing the addition of new features.

  - master branch now tracks development for next Y release

  - build system adapted to build from new dev branch

  - test scratch build from beta branch

  - beta is built from dev branch

  - waiting period (1 week after beta release date) before RC

      - RC Date: December 12, 2017

  - waiting period (1 week after RC release date) before GA

      - GA Date: December 19, 2017

If all goes well, and no blocking bugs delay further release stages, this release should become Generally Available December 11, 2017. This page will be updated as progress is made.
