With Pulp (with the non-redis non-Redis tasking system, all system) needs to be tolerant of failures connecting to Redis and especially during the serving of content. All attempts to connect to or communicate with Redis should be tolerant of both connection failures and keys "going missing", relating to the serving of content. missing". Redis should be a non-critical operational component in all respects.
