The hard part here is going to be generating a fixture with a different checksums in repomd.xml and primary.xml. I've opened an issue here: https://github.com/PulpQE/pulp-fixtures/issues/113 The steps are basically to sync/publish an on_demand a repo with mixed checksum types and it should work.
