We have no idea how future RHEL versions will change, Pulp 2 is only supported content up to RHEL8. Content from later RHEL version will be supported only in Pulp 3+. We encourage users to upgrade to Pulp3. Even if future content might seem to work fine with Pulp 2, it's likely that some features will be broken or produce incorrect results.
