Platform and plugin docs produce lots of warnings and errors
Description
Platform and all plugins show different errors and warnings when you build the docs locally with `make html`. Most of these are linking errors which represent broken links in our docs. Cleaning up the errors and warning will fix a lot of docs errors.

This seems like it should be an issue rather than a task (and probably
doesn't need the "As a developer" style title, not that it is bad).
