Description
It would be good for Pulp to reach a wider set of users. A reasonable step towards this goal is for Pulp to provide a PPA for Debian users that allows them to install and use Pulp, along with a few plugins.
Deliverables:
- Figure out how to deal with custom dependencies
- Package Pulp in a .deb format
- Package one or more of these plugins: docker, puppet, python
- Build a Debian repository out of the packages
- Publish the Debian repository as a PPA
- Update build automation
- Consider ways to get someone in the community to manage parts of this
- Test it on Debian's latest stable
Actions
Workaround upgrading packages on EL7
by ignoring the latest libcomps.
