Task #725

Ensure Pulp works on Fedora 22
Status:
CLOSED - CURRENTRELEASE
Description
Fedora 22 is available, ensure that Pulp 2.6 runs and is able to sync and publish content. It is sufficient to just check the following:
- Pulp 2.6 is installable via RPM
- Pulp 2.6 starts and is able to sync and publish an RPM repo
- dev setup script works
Here are some additional koji related deliverables so that builds will produce F22 rpms.
- setup koji with Fedora 22 builds targets
- the existing build scripts should be extended to support F22
Is the idea to connect it to the fedora 21 pulp repo and install with those RPMs. Will that work?
Also would you link to the dev setup script? I think there are a few methods (new ones and old ones) and I get confused about which you mean.

That is the idea, yeah. I've done it on Fedora 21 using F20 rpms in the past and it worked ok. We could also build Fedora 22 rpms from srpm using mock; this is something we should do anyway just to ensure all build deps exist.

This one: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pulp/pulp/master/playpen/dev-setup.sh

I think it would be worth going ahead and adding a Koji builder for it.
Now that we know how to do it ourselves, it helps us be prepared for the
F22 launch. Plus, people who use the F22 beta can go ahead and just
install Pulp.
I've been wanting us to have Pulp on Fedora releases on day 0, and we've
never achieved that since I've been on the team. I'd love to see this
happen!

So the output of this task would be installable F22 rpms for either 2.6.0 or 2.6.1 that are published with everything else?

That would be my preference.

I updated the description to have some koji deliverables done. That should cause rpms to be produced with our normal builds.

At this point we have build targets for Fedora 22 created in Koji. I will update each project so the dist_list.txt contains fc22 and remove fc20.
