Issue #3786
closedIncorrect Package Requiremetns
Description
Morning All
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to raise this issue, apologies if it is not.
The below link references a requirement on python-qpqid.
https://docs.pulpproject.org/en/2.16/user-guide/installation/f23-.html
python-qpid has now been replaced by python2-qpid in rhel7.5 (possibly other versions, I'm not sure).

You're correct. The package in question comes from EPEL so that would be the case for both RHEL and CentOS.
When I tested it, it seemed to resolve the package correctly anyways - did it cause a problem for you? (I can update the docs either way, just asking)

Wow, not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, I can't seem to find a "reply" option, only seem to have an edit option at the bottom of the page.
I can't say this site is entirely intuitive to use.
Lets see...
It wasn't an issue per say, in so far as, installing pulp via yum satisfied the dependencies and pulled in python2-qpid.
However in our config manage, I had specified python-qpid as per the documentation, so it was causing noise.
One could argue it's simply cosmetic :D

Yeah I agree it's not super intuitive. But you did the right thing.
Anyways, it's fixed :)
