Issue #2553
closedUnable to sync isolinux and efi directory
Description
Unable to sync isolinux and efi directory when using pulp.
This would be required in order to be able to use the published base as an install for network installs.

Can a reproducer be posted on this issue? One with pulp-admin commands that could copy+paste would be ideal.

This is a known limitation. The isolinux directory is difficult to discover in a normal yum repo because there is no reference to it or its contents from the "treeinfo" file. As such, starting in Pulp 2.5, we added the ability to parse an optional "pulp_distribution.xml" file that could be used for discovery of any arbitrary files not indexed by the traditional yum repo metadata files.

The downside is that it requires a repo publisher to create that XML file which is not a standard outside of Pulp. The Red Hat CDN publishes the pulp_distribution.xml file, but I am not sure if any other software providers do.
