I'm interested. Also I can get started without IRC integration since I'll likely interact with it from my mobile.

This is pretty easy, and the docs are minimal for getting started, I just need a place to host the docs.

Is this appropriate to put in the dev guide, for example? Where should it go, if not?

What about using the redmine wiki for this? My thinking is that the dev guide is treated as the technical manual for pulp development. I would be ok with putting it in the dev guide also, but my first thought was wiki. What do you think?

What about @pulpproj as a name? I like that one a bit more than @pulpdevs and @pulp and @pulpproject are both taken.

The @pulp name is too short, and I also prefer @pulpproj to @pulpdevs. I'm just going to change it now, I think.

I reworked the checklist items some based on what I think still needs to be done. The only formal docs I feel we need right now are a step in the build process to announce its availability via twitter also so I added one for that.

If ^ were not good changes feel free to edit or revert.

Pulp 2 is approaching maintenance mode, and this Pulp 2 ticket is not being actively worked on. As such, it is being closed as WONTFIX.
