I'm not sure if this discrepancy is specific to rpm downloading, or if it happens on all our types so I'm filing it under Pulp for now. I noticed that pulp-admin said that I was 50% done with the download while the RPMs: label below it showed 3520/10154.

I suspect that it meant that I was 50% done with the bytes of the download. It would be more useful if it showed the bytes immediately below the progress bar so it doesn't look like we are bad at math. I think keeping the unit counts is fine as long as the bytes are shown first. Bonus points if we humanize the bytes (MiB, GiB, etc.)
